From the Wall Street Journals excellent summary of the new collection
The other look of the Prada season is a series of hacked-off suits. Light jackets were cut mid-torso, the shorn threads left hanging, and same with the pants, which were sliced just below the knee. They will be perfect for the corporate executive who is embarking on a round of layoffs that will leave her company equally shorn.

Anyway, I recommend shoes with a rubber sole. I credit Prada with making smart-looking rubber-sole shoes that resemble dress shoes but perform almost like sneakers.
